Design of this wiki[]

I quite like the design of this wiki; I have always felt (probably because I suffer mild hemeralopia) that for reading text by transmitted light (e.g. on a screen), light text on a dark background is a lot easier to read than the other way around (though for reading by reflected light, e.g. off of paper, the reverse is probably true).

There is however one slight problem with it; the bluelinks and redlinks are both red, hence indistinguishable. I for one don't want to be clicking on a redlink unless I actually do want to be creating the article, so I think this ought to be fixed. I would suggest using cyan for the bluelinks, as this is a similar colour to blue and has a gamma of about 70%, hence shows well on a black background and contrasts well with the white (100%, naturally) text. — RobertATfm (talk) 17:23, September 9, 2013 (UTC)

Indeed - the link colors have been bothering me for a long time. There are a lot of technical issues to fix around here - the Wiki is still in a pretty "raw" state. For now I'll try to create text content, and I'll let Raadec sort out the technical stuff - he is more experienced. -- Vorknkx (talk) 07:20, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
Cyan would be good for the time being. The colour scheme can wait but it's interesting about you (Robert) finding it easier to read white on black on a monitor. I had thought about going black on white (or grey) but perhaps we should think about going with something similar to this and Quakewiki. Like I say it can wait for now unless someone had some ideas.

I just fetched the good ol' Level Infobox template from Quake Wiki. I think I will put it to good use very soon... -- Vorknkx (talk) 12:56, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
