Lesser Runes are an ammunition artifact found in Heretic.

Picking up one of these artifacts will award the player with 20 ammo for their Hellstaff (30 if they are playing on the easiest or hardest skill levels).
Sabreclaws also drop runes upon their death, and provide the same amount as a standalone pickup.
