The Shadow Wood is the second hub of Hexen.
Overview[]
This hubs theme is focused around natural environments - woods, swamps, wastelands, and caverns. The woods are the central hub, while the other three areas are where the puzzle is solved. The main puzzle requires the activation of six switches hidden behind locked doors. Each of the three sub-areas hold a specific key, and the doors it unlocks are found on the other two maps.
Once all six switches have been activated, the path to the Hypostyle will open, where the Death Wyvern resides.
