The Constable's Gate is the central level of Constable's Gate, the second hub of Deathkings of the Dark Citadel.
Walkthrough and Secrets[]
Rarely-known secret: it's possible to avoid direct confrontation with the heresiarch at the beginning of the level until later. On the starting ledge, don't jump down to the ground, but jump to the next ledge along the wall on the right. After 2 or 3 ledges, you'll get to the gap on the far side where serpents were shooting at you; follow the passage and jump on the stained glass roof. This takes you to the middle of the level. You can trace your steps backward to the main entrance later to fight the heresiarch when you are ready. In the meantime, you can go to the sub-levels in the hub to collect powerups before you face the heresiarch.
