The Chicken is a unique enemy encountered in Heretic and Heretic II.
Overview[]
A chicken is spawned when an enemy is subjected to the effects of the Morph Ovum (or its equivalent spell). Players can also be turned into chickens, which produce a first-person view of a beak. The effect is temporary for both players and enemies.
Chickens can peck, causing a small amount of damage.
